In May/June 2026, selections from the Thrilla Archive were featured in “The Ring” magazine in a photo essay by boxing historian Thomas Hauser.

The feature presented photographs from the archive publicly for the first time since they were photographed by Lowell K. Riley during Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier III on October 1, 1975.

“I think the photos are remarkable. They’re the best collection of photos I’ve seen from Manila. And trust me; I’ve seen a lot of Ali-Frazier III photos.”
